Evidencias nominated finalist in ISPOR conference in Rio
Evidence stood out at the ISPOR (International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research) 2nd Latin America Conference, in September 2009, in Rio de Janeiro. Four of the five posters presented were nominated finalists: Billing review in Oncology, Palonosetron compared to other serotonin inhibitors, ESAS for chemotherapy induced anemia, and Pharmacoeconomic analysis of anti-emetics in oncology setting. The podium presentation Evidence-Based Auditing (EBA): Impact in chemotherapy costs 3 years after EBA program implantation, presented by Dr. Otávio Clark, was awarded the best podium presentation of the conference. The event discussed how to unite research and policy to improve health care in Latin America.
