The first step is to formulate one clinical question well structured to answer a specific clinical situation. A well constructed question is fundamental
to proceed to the search. There are techniques to do a proper search on medical databases and once the articles are found, a critical evaluation of them
is mandatory. Once the articles are critically reviewed, conclusion on the theme may be drawn and applied to real patients.
The daily use of EBM provides consistency of practices, superior quality of treatments, increased safety for the patients and also for the medical team.
